These cups are the sunflowers the kids planted. From left, Andrew's cup has one visible sprout and 2 more that are still pushing up through the dirt. In the middle, Gracie has 3 popping through and mine, on the right only has 1. They are very excited everyday to see what has happened.
Below is my strawberry and onion garden. Heather came over and helped me plant.
Below is my vegetable garden. It has 3 types of tomatoes, green peppers, green beans and cucumbers. The beans and cucumbers are starting from seeds. It doesn't look like much now but very soon it will look like a garden.
I also have mint plants to put in containers and set around the garden to help the veggies. Today I found a chocolate mint plant. I just couldn't pass it up. They all smell soooo good.Grace has been a little sick today. She has had a tummy ache. I think the worst thing to clean up is when a kid throws up and luckily it happened while Heather was here. I ran to the store and she stayed with the kids. Lucky me...thanks Heather! Anyway, today was a good day besides Gracie not feeling well. I got everything planted and made Gracie's birthday banner which I will try to put on tomorrow. I need to clear off my camera b/c my card is full. Oh, tomorrow is Grace's first mommy and me class. I am super excited and hope that she is feeling better b/c I really want to go. I'll let you know how it goes.
