Desperately Seeking Sleep

I'm tired and the kids are tired. Of course they are taking a nap and what am I doing? Wishing I was taking a nap. I tried but a few minutes into it a car pulled up next door and honked...not just once....they waited and then honked again just as I was getting comfy on my pillow once again. Then the dogs started in. Of course as if I'm not completely awake, Andrew is next to me hacking away due to his allergies. A completely no win situation. And so, I'm tired.

Last night Papa Wayne came over and had dinner with us and of course played with the kids. After dinner Andrew wanted Papa to play trains and so they did. Then they came back to the living room and started playing some crazy game that only dads and grandpas would come up with. He was throwing them on the couch and they rolled down and landed on a pillow on the floor. You had to be here.....when I finally told them the game was over, time to calm down....at 9:30, they started racing down the hallway and Papa was the finish line. This somehow turned into running to catch pillows and so on. Finally at 10:30 I heard Grace talking in her bed and I guess go to sleep b/c I didn't hear anything else.

This is the main reason why I am tired. We were up late and Andrew coughed all night. This morning we went to Grace's class and then to the library. The kids were really good. Grace doesn't participate in anything but she did march and shake her shaker this time. She was getting really tired at the library but was really good.

I am getting a strawberry pot which I am extremely excited about. I posted on freecycle and a lady replied that she has one. FREE!!!!! How awesome is that? Not sure how big it is but I will take it. I can't wait to get it and start my strawberries in it. I'll let you know how it goes. I was told to keep my strawberries inside for a while before planting them. Planting won't take place for at least a week. I'm going to try and get the strawberry plants tomorrow if they have any. Well, I guess that's all for now. Have an awesome day!
