More tball pics

Grace is struggling with T-ball.  She looks adorable running the bases (very slowly I might add) but she isn't really loving it.  She makes it about 2 innings most of the time but by the 3rd she is pretty much done and so am I.  I told her if she doesn't finish the season she won't be able to go to the team party or get a trophy.  I sure hope that doesn't happen because I think she will be really sad.  Last week she told me she wanted to play soccer.  Uh, maybe next year.  I can already tell by this experience that she isn't ready for it yet.

She spends all of her time by her daddy on the field.

Andrew on the other hand is loving T-ball.  He's good on the field and knows what to do.  He doesn't complain about being too hot or tired in the middle of a game.

T-ball

I'm still here.  I've been incredibly busy and just downloaded pictures from Grace's birthday, Disneyland, first t-ball game, and who knows what else!  It said I have over 400 pictures so I guess I'll be surprised.
Today was our first t-ball game.  Both kids are playing and it was really cute!  Andrew did awesome and probably should have moved up but we figured it was easier to have one team instead of 2.  Next year Grace may move up to be on his team but since it is a pitching machine we'll have to see.  David may just have to coach 2 teams!  Here are some pictures from today.
 Before the game!
Grace catching a ground ball
Waiting to be announced before the game.
Loved this next picture the way she is standing waiting and holding her glove.  Love her hands.
Eyes closed but still a cute picture!
 Her first time at bat.
 Andrew at bat
That's Grace in the bright pink helmet running to 1st base.  She looked so little out there.
And because it was over 90 degrees today, we got out the slip and slide to cool off after the game!

End of the Season

Coach Daddy giving him some direction!

He made it to first before the ball!
In the dugout right after he scored a run! (except we don't keep score!)
The last huddle of the season!  Go Twins!  (Actually they yelled Indians since that is who we played)
All the kids signed this poster and I framed it for the coach who happens to also be my awesome hubby!
Andrew getting his trophy from dad and medal from mom!  We had a great team party at the park.  We had a lot of fun this season and can't wait for next year!
