Busy day (update with pictures)

Last night we went to the Good Friday service at church and it was awesome. Pastor Tim and the worship team did a fantastic job. Pastor Tim said that they wanted us to feel the weight of what happened that day and it was just fantastic. There was a girl painting Jesus on the stage the entire time. I wish all of you could have been there to experience it.

Today has been pretty crazy. We had to run a bunch of errands today including my least favorite, the grocery store. We all went which takes so much longer to get it all done but I'm tired of doing it all alone. I enjoy getting out alone sometimes but not today. The kids are out playing right now. I guess Grace isn't getting a nap today. Not sure what that means for tonight but she's doing good right now. I'm boiling eggs for us to dye in a little while and then I am working in the nursery for tonight's service. We actually have 5 service times this year and 2 campuses. There is one down the street from our house that we will be attending and they will have a live band and the message recorded from tonight that we will watch on a large screen. I would hear the message live but it will be very crowded at the church and this is so close. Anyway, maybe tonight after church I can add some pictures of the kids coloring their eggs. For sure I will have pics tomorrow in the Easter outfits and having their egg hunt. Hope you all have a wonderful Easter tomorrow and remember it's not about the eggs and chocolate but about Jesus!
Grace obviously did not catch onto the whole spoon thing. Thankfully I used the tablets for color instead of food coloring and it washed right off. I will have to remember that for next year! They had so much fun and Andrew kept saying his eggs were beautiful. I also did the resurrection eggs and Andrew thought it was a Jesus game. He kept talking about the mean guys that put nails in Jesus' hands and how that was bad. He is learning but this is such a hard concept for little kids. We will just have to keep doing this lesson every year.

  1. Sounds like Andrew is learning what he's hearing in his Sunday School class. Makes it all worthwhile!
Gracie had way too much fun coloring her eggs!
Happy Easter and may it be a blessed day for you!
