I'm Back!

Oops, haven't posted since Sunday....sorry, didn't realize. It's been a busy week. On Monday we took Grace to the Dr. for her 2 year checkup. She had to get a shot and go for a blood draw. She did awesome with both. She is 33 1/2 inches and 24 pounds. Still a petite little girl. We also got medicine for her itchy back. Her back and backs of her legs have been breaking out and really itchy for a few weeks now. The doctor gave us an oral medication to help with the itching and the bonus is that it helps her sleep. She also gave her a cream and told me to continue with the aquaphor. I feel bad for her b/c she is so itchy. Hopefully this will help but so far it hasn't.

On Tuesday we went to mommy and me class and then to the library. At Gracie's class she participated in 1 song which is improvement from last week. At the library the kids made kites. Yesterday was windy so it was perfect. I only have a picture on my cell phone so I'm not sure how well it will look on here but I will try to upload it later. To make the kites they used plastic grocery bags and stapled streamers to the bottom. For the string they (I) tied yarn to the handles and on the other end of the yarn was a stick for them to hold on to. It was really cute. When all the kids were done we went outside and flew their kites. It was really cute. Great idea for spring! We came home, ate lunch, and took naps. Then mommy worked at the church last night so they got to stay home with daddy and play!

Today it is really windy so we are stuck inside. The kids were begging to go outside this morning so instead they are using watercolor paints to paint Grace's birthday banner that was rolled up and waiting to be carried out to the trash. They are excited to paint the paw prints. Well, I hope everyone is having a wonderful week. I will be back tomorrow to post the pictures....maybe even tonight!
