I'm struggling with him turning 4. Of course, I have struggled at every year for some reason. Maybe because he is my oldest. It's hard to believe he is actually 4 and next year will go to school. I don't even want to think about how fast this next year will go. We have completed 2 days of swim lessons. Grace is loving it. We play in the water together and blow bubbles, float and she jumps off the side into my arms. Andrew hated it yesterday b/c we thought he would swim with daddy but he is just with his instructor...no parents. That upset him and he cried "daddy" the entire time. It was very difficult to listen to him cry the whole time. Today he didn't want to do it and cried again for probably 20 minutes and the last 10 he had fun. The teacher made him do everything even when he cried. She even jumped into the deep end with him in her arms and they went under and he was fine. She doesn't mind that he cries and said the more she makes him go under water and do the activities the quicker he will be ok. I think it's a little of being afraid of the water and also being left with a stranger in a strange place. He really likes his teacher (she wasn't there yesterday) and said he will go back tomorrow. Maybe he will actually get out of her arms sooner tomorrow. I will get some pics of swim lessons but not until next Friday b/c that is camera day. Parents aren't allowed around the pool during lessons except for the parent/toddler class. Well, that's about it....HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDREW!!!!!!
