The kids made these cute Easter baskets at the library today and I thought I would share in case you need a cute, easy activity for the kids to do. We used 16 oz containers (from sour cream, cottage cheese, deli, etc.). The kids glued strips around the container (vertical) and then glued animals on top of the strips. I'm not sure where the animals came from but you can always use stickers or clip art from the
internet.

Then we punched holes on each side and used pipe cleaners for the handle. We used 2 and twisted them together. Add grass and candy (or toy) and you have a cute Easter basket. The kids glued everything themselves and I put the handle on for them and they were so proud of how they turned out. I may have them make another one this week to give to their cousins this weekend.
