In a Funk....

OK, so a warning that I have no inspiration for this post....at all! Just wanted to warn you that I might ramble...but I'll try to throw in a picture at the end :)  I'm in a funk right now for numerous reasons.  One being that I was accused of doing something that I cannot recall. I basically just have to take the blame and nobody gets to hear my side or even ask me what happened.  It was just assumed that I did it.  I really don't want to show my face again at school.

Also, I had a sick kid yesterday.  Andrew had a fever and some tummy troubles.  Not sure what it was but the fever is gone and he is playing today. Today was already a holiday at school so he gets an extra day to take it easy. Grace is a little stuffy this morning so maybe she is going to start with this awful virus that is going around.  I can only hope that we won't go any further with getting sick b/c it is a really nasty virus.

I'm starting some online classes on Tuesday.  Did I already tell you that?  I can't remember but it's for a certificate that I have to get if I ever want to teach in CA again.  They are graduate level courses and I'm a little intimidated.  My counselor told me that I will probably be overwhelmed for the first class and then it will get easier.  Each class is 6 weeks so this is what I will be doing for the next 6 months.  Fun!

Excuse the quality of these pictures.  Andrew actually took both of these.  This is how Grace chose to dress for about 2 weeks.  She had to wear that tutu everyday and her plastic princess shoes. Everyone could hear her coming!  It was kind of annoying while it was happening b/c I had to coordinate outfits to match the pink tutu and convince her to wear the clothes I picked.  It was also very cold during this time and it was hard to get socks on her.  Lately she wants to wear her princess nightgowns everywhere...church, school, store, even outside to play.  She is so silly!  Well, I guess that wraps it up.  Kind of put me in a better mood to see these pictures again after a couple weeks.

  1. I'm sorry about whatever happened at school that has you in a funk. Try to remember that this shall pass as all things do .. hold your head up high .. go back in that school .. and let whatever bad feelings there are go over your head. Easier to say than do I know .. been there .. done that .. you can do it too!

My daughter would have loved for her daughter to be a little Princess "girly-girl" like Grace is! Lindsay never wanted frills and fru fru .. she still doesn't!! Sometimes when we're out shopping Madonna will pick up some girly-girl type of dress or jewelry or purse and say "this is what my girly-girl daughter would want for Christmas .. her birthday .. whatever"!! So I get a kick out of seeing and hearing about Grace and her Princess night clothes and her tutu!!!

  3. Melissa was always dressed up so cute when she was little! Then she grew up and went into blue jeans, t-shirts and teneys! Now, it's on again! LOL
Melissa, it's is always easier for some people to point a finger at some unsuspecting soul than to take the blame for what they themselves did. Hold your head up, Daughter. If you don't remember, then either you didn't do it or you didn't realize you did. No matter.
Get on with it! It's over and done!Keep those kids well! As well as you and David!
