- We are back to school and getting back into our routine.
- At church we are reading through the Bible in a year and I am already behind. Actually I've been behind since we began on January 1st. I working like crazy to catch up because I don't like to skip around. I'm only a few chapters behind now so I'll be caught up quickly.
- We had a 3 day weekend and it was nice to just spend time with David and the kids with very few places to go and no expectations.
- Tomorrow Andrew has basketball practice and Saturday is his first game. David is coaching again.
- Grace is learning her sight words finally. By this time, Andrew already knew all of his kindergarten sight words but she has been enjoying math so I didn't push it. Lately, she has been asking if she can read my novels. She obviously doesn't know any of the words but loves to pretend that she is reading. I'm so glad my kids have my love for reading. I always have a book (and now my Kindle) in my hand reading.
- Andrew decided to join Sonshine Choir again at church and is loving it. I'm so glad I let him make the choice to take time off and when to join again.
- Grace is enjoying her tumbling class and they are working on a new routine for the spring recital and dancing competitions and so far it looks really cute. She is really opening up and actually talks to her instructors now. At first she wouldn't even go near the male instructor and now she talks to him. So thankful for little steps with her.
- Grace can't wait to turn 5 in a few months and thinks she will go to Kindergarten. Too bad she has to wait 4 months after turning 5. That is hard to explain to her.
- I think you are caught up. I have a few things to write about and pictures to show and when I have time (yeah, right) I will get those on here. I really need to just wake up early a couple days a week and take care of this blog. Hope you all have a wonderful week.

I think you have MY love of reading! LOL And both of us on a Kindle, no less!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of which, I picked up a book about Harry Truman and wife taking a road trip in 1953. Just the two of them. Really good book, if you like stuff like that.
When not reading, spend as much time enjoying family as possible. Sometimes, where time spent together that isn't planned winds up being more memorable than planned time.
Just give Grace time, she's coming out of her 'shell' and she has to advance at her pace, and Andrew is growing up way to quickly!
I'm glad he decided he wanted to be in the Choir again.
Starting to ramble. time to say Adios, Amigos!
Love to all!
Papa Rick
