This and That

Did you see the Disney Ticker above this post? 6 days until my birthday and Disneyland....which also means 5 days until Grannylou and Aunt Nunny get here. I've heard they are so excited they can hardly stand it. It's been 4 months since we have seen them...a little longer than that for Aunt Nunny. It's a very exciting week for us! I am very excited myself. I've been trying to get Grace to say Nunny....we'll see. She can already say loulou. So cute!

Today I am working all 3 services at church. Two this morning and 1 more tonight. I've been home about 2 hours and will be leaving soon. We went to church last night...it was great! The current series is called "Not Your Average Joe." It has been really good. It's about Joseph and how he lived for God. Such an awesome story....if you have time go back and read about him in Genesis...not positive which chapters but I know last night we did chapters 40-41. And if you say you don't have time...make time. God is never too busy for us!

When I got home from church today Grace was asleep and Andrew was outside with David. He was pushing his toy lawn mower and following Daddy (he had the real lawn mower). Anyway, he wouldn't stop to hug my b/c they weren't done. He (Andrew) even came in to talk to me but wouldn't hug me b/c they were going to do the backyard and he said "Mom, I told you that I will hug you when I'm done mowing the yard." Ummm, hello. Did you forget that you are 3. Anyway, he said he would kiss me (and did) but still no hug. Finally about an hour and a half AFTER I got home he finally hugged me. It was great. I really miss them when I'm gone like this all day.

Well, I won't bore you any longer. David is getting ready to leave with them so I want to go spend a few more minutes with them. They are going shopping for my birthday....this should be interesting! Of course I have no idea what to tell them to get me. Do you think David can pick out a new purse? Not sure about that.

  1. Probably be best if you just hit him up for the money and picked out the purse yourself. He'd probably pick out one that didn't go with anything you own! Then, to keep from hurting his feelings, you'd probably go out and buy 2 or 3 outfits that went with the purse. See how much money you could save!?
