Last night was refreshing. David was gone playing softball and the kids were in bed asleep by 8:00 and I got to scrapbook. I finished 2 pages and started a third but got stuck trying to figure out how I want it to look. I could have moved on to a different page but I already had my mess out for that one so I moved on to my next task....catching up on the baby books for each of the kids. I went through each one but was actually caught up so I just added a few things on the blank pages for each one like cute sayings and when Andrew began preschool.
One story that I added was from today. Grace was throwing a fit this morning and I told her that 3 year olds don't talk to their mommy like that and started telling her all the things that 3 year olds do like: a 3 yr old little girl uses her own door to get in the car and doesn't fight with her brother to use his door and 3 yr olds don't scream at their mommy, and 3 yr olds don't ask for candy before breakfast, blah blah blah. (that's what it sounded like to her)
She sat for a second (I thought I had won) and then walked over to me and held up 2 fingers and said "I'm 2!"

Enjoyed the time on the webcam with the kids....and just ask your brother and Dad about the way Grace acts...she will grow out of it, just lots of Prayers and knowing who is in control, some kids just require more attention than others, those that don't sometimes feel left out and they are the ones that are loved just as much! Remember she is still "2".
ReplyDeleteHi Melissa, Grace is soooo funny. She came back and told you she was only 2.(LOL) .Even when things are chaotic ,kids come back with some good answers. Love, Kathy (You cannot help but see the humor in that one)
ReplyDeleteShe'll out grow the terrible 2's eventually.
ReplyDeleteYou did! LOL
Love, Dad
Sorry Melissa, but you can't fool that girl.
ReplyDeleteLittle girls are so independent, not like little boys. My boys were so loveable but my daughter had a mind of her own.
I have been working hard on scrapbooking. I only started a few yrs ago and I would like to finish some that I started for our daughters graduation party. Of course most of my stuff is in storage. I thought I kept out more than I did. I'm making it work though.
ReplyDeletethats Grace! I wouldnt expect any less! LOL!
ReplyDeleteJust got to see your stuff. And Gracie telling you she was only 2 sounds an awful like YOU. I know you didnt wanna hear that but its true.
ReplyDeletelove yuns,
Big Mark
