We took the kids to Wrightwood last weekend to go sledding. It was a beautiful day and warm enough to just layer our clothes and not have to wear heavy coats. Grace was completely fearless when it came to going down the hill. She went with me a few times and with her daddy but she LOVED going alone. She sat up on the sled and held onto the handles and flew down the hill. Andrew was definitely more cautious and chose to lie down on his belly and go down feet first. It was an awesome day with no meltdowns (except the entire cup of hot cocoa that Grace spilled) and I am so thankful for that time with my family.
Hi Melissa, Looks like you all had a ball!!! Grace is so funny. She is soooo independent. Most kids would not go down a hill on a sled by themselves at her age.Andrew is the cautious one. Love, Kathy

ReplyDeleteAndrew is more cautious, which is a good thing! No sense jumping out a 3rd story window just because you get to the 1st floor quicker.
