This is the rule in our house. No food in the living room b/c of the new carpet...this included the couches. Grace makes sure we all follow this rule and if I eat in there and get caught she makes a huge deal about it but obviously the rules don't apply to her. I found her on the couch with the bag of grapes and she was trying to pick them off and put them in a bowl!
Funny, they were probably hoping you would not notice if they kept their heads down and were quiet. (LOL) Love, Kathy
