City Bus

This is the bus stop where we got on. It was outside the library and city hall. The kids are so interested in the city buses and have never been on one so today my friend Erica and Elaine and I took the kids on the city bus to the mall for lunch. Carlie's brother Jon was out of school for spring break so he found where we could get on the bus with no transfers and go straight to the mall. Of course the bus made stops along the way so it took a while but the time flew by and the kids had a blast!

Here is Grace on the way home. She was really tired and right after this she leaned on me and fell asleep. We had a great day and it was a little humbling b/c these people depend on this system for transportation and we take for granted having a car to get from here to there while they depend on a bus and have to follow a schedule. We were constantly watching the clock at the mall to make sure we got back in time to get on the bus. Glad we got to experience this!
