Back To School Night
Tonight is back to school night and I am way more excited than I should be! This is week 4 of school and I haven't been in the classroom except the first day which was just to walk him in. I'm still waiting for the board to clear me to volunteer (hopefully next Tuesday) and then I will be there as much as I can! I made his teacher a little gift....actually 2 because I changed my mind and I'm keeping one of them for myself! It looks good on my entertainment center! HA! Anyway, I'll post pictures tomorrow of the gift and of Andrew in his classroom! There's a lot going on around here and I can't wait to get pics up of all of it! We are redecorating Andrew's room (sorry, Dad, but the border came down!) and it's going to look so cute grown up when it's all done! No more baby room for him! I'm excited but it's going to be a sloooooooow process since we have to do all of this on a very small budget. I did score a twin headboard for 8.99 at a thrift store that I plan to paint! Pics and more details later!

As much trouble as we had getting that border up, I'm really surprised it stayed up this long! What, 5 1/2 years?!
ReplyDeleteTime he got a big boy's room anyway!
Just repaint the walls for now, and then do/add little things as you go!
Don't let become a pain at school! I know how you are! LOL
Hi Melissa, I am glad everything is going well. Simplify works every time!! Andrew's room will be soooo cute and as you say, more grownup.(LOL)--You will have fun finding items to decorate his room. My friend, Liz, has so much fun finding items that do not cost alot and she makes everything so awesome too. That was really nice of you making the teacher a gift. You will have fun volunteering for things in his classroom!! It is a beautiful day here. I put up the windows. It is beginning to feel more like Fall. Have a great day!! Love to you all, Kathy
